Mr. Shellman has been a leader in the transportation and supply chain field for over 25 years. As President of UniGlobal Logistics, Mr. Shellman had responsibility for global transportation and logistics operations supporting Union Carbide's global sales. In addition, his responsibilities included commercial transportation responsibility for many international ventures. Mr. Shellman has held a number of leadership positions that include Director of Union Carbide's Global Transportation Purchasing Department, Operations manager for global terminals, warehousing, and transportation. In addition, to his experience in the process industry he held senior supply chain positions at Eveready batteries, Prestone and Glad home products. Mr. Shellman earned a BA in Public Accounting at CW Post College and in Business Administration at the State University of NY.
Mr. Maier has more than thirty years of experience in providing legal counsel and services to businesses in a variety of fields, including electronics, industrial gases and more than thirteen years in the chemical industry. Most recently, Mr. Maier was Group Counsel for Union Carbide Corporation, serving as general counsel for global chemical business units with sales in excess of $1.5 billion. He has extensive experience in corporate, international, and transactional work, having been lead counsel on numerous significant transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and financings in the U.S. and throughout the world. Mr. Maier earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University, and J.D. and MBA degrees from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. He is a member of the bars of the States of New York and Connecticut.
Mr. Alberico, Chief Financial Officer, is a proven leader in running world class financial organizations and has extensive experience in all areas of financial management. His industry experience includes manufacturing, telecommunications, professional services and technology. Throughout his 20+ year career, Mr. Alberico has held senior financial positions for small entrepreneurial, mid market and large multinational companies whose product and service offerings included high quality and cost effective outsourcing solutions. Mr. Alberico has worked for PepsiCo, DunsNet (a division of D&B), Sprint, and most recently System Management ARTS. As head of finance with System Management ARTS, Mr. Alberico was a key member of the executive leadership team which successfully built a profitable company and grew net revenues from $15M to $70M within a 3 year period. Mr. Alberico has extensive experience building and running global finance teams in North America, Europe and the Far East. Mr. Alberico holds a Bachelor of Business from Iona College and an MBA in finance from Iona College Graduate School of Business.
Since OL&T's formation, Mr. Sadowski has played a lead role in creating OL&T's unique software applications, such as OL&T's web-based international freight forwarding system, and OL&T's applications for the bulk logistics market. Mr. Sadowski joined OL&T from RELY Software, a maker of transportation management software, where he was VP of Product Management. Prior to that, Mr. Sadowski was a principal with PRTM Management Consultants, a $100 million consulting firm focused on product development, product strategy and supply chain management. Mr. Sadowski has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto. He attended Cornell University's Program in Manufacturing Management dual degree program, and received both an M.B.A. and a Master of Engineering in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell. He is certified in production and inventory management (CPIM) by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
Mr. Podoshev has more than 25 years of experience in software architecture, design and development. He joined Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation from RELY Software, where he was Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Podoshev led software development for RELY's key clients such as Rayonier, Atofina, and Samsung. Prior to that, he founded and ran an ERP software company with over 100 customers, worked as the head of a software research laboratory at Kharkov State University, and as a software development lead in an engineering company. He received a master's degree in applied mathematics from Kharkov State University in 1976 and a Ph.D. in mathematics in 1989. Mr. Podoshev has been published more than a dozen times in mathematical journals worldwide.
Mr. Clark has 25+ years of experience at Union Carbide and The Dow Chemical Company, with over 13 years managing international transportation purchasing and operations. His commercial experience involves chemical tanker chartering from North America to Latin AM, Africa, and MidEast, International Air freight contracts, U.S. inland marine barge transportation and maintenance service contracts, and global ocean containership contracts at Union Carbide. Prior to joining OL&T, Mr. Clark led Dow Chemical's logistics procurement activities in North American on Ocean containership transportation, Isotank transportation and equipment leasing, and Dow's global marine surveyor and lab services contracts, involving a total of $100+ million of freight and logistics expenditures annually. Additionally, Mr. Clark was Manager of Export Operations for Union Carbide, leading a staff which handled contract administration, export compliance regulations, and supplier quality performance for their ocean carriers and freight forwarders. Mr. Clark also has experience as a process engineer, which included plant design, project engineering and process licensing support. Mr. Clark received a BS in Chemical Engineering at Michigan Tech University and an MBA from WV State College.
Mr. Hu has combined 27 years of diverse experience with Union Carbide Corporation, EQUATE and The Dow Chemical Company ranging from manufacturing, business/financial analyses and logistics procurement to chemical supply chain management. In the last 12 years his focus has been on international logistics procurement with emphasis on freight forwarding, ocean container shipping, terminals and warehousing. In addition to his work in the U.S., Mr. Hu has worked in both the Middle East and Europe as Supply Chain Manager of the Polyethylene business for EQUATE. He was responsible for designing, implementing and managing the supply chain for the shipments of resin to the Far East and Europe. Most recently, he was responsible for The Dow Chemical Company warehouses and terminals procurement. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Saint Thomas (Philippines) and an MBA from Lehigh University.
Mr. Riggs has over eighteen years experience in chemical supply chain management with Union Carbide, UniGlobal Logistics, The Dow Chemical Company and Odyssey Logistics. Since Odyssey's start, Mr. Riggs has directed the logistics redesign and implementation of all of Odyssey's North American clients. During the merger of Union Carbide and Dow Chemical, Mr. Riggs held a leadership role in the integration of the companies motor carrier distribution networks. Mr. Riggs' experience also includes working at several world-class North American chemical plants, where he held various distribution, materials management and contracting positions. His chemical transportation management experience includes the safe and efficient operations of large package truck, bulk truck and rail distribution networks. Mr. Riggs received a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
Mr. Marky has over 15 years of experience in supply chain and operations management. Prior to being appointed Vice President, Operations, Mr. Marky was Director, Client Integration Services overseeing all system and work process integrations with OL&T's clients. He came to Odyssey Logistics from RELY Software where he was Director of Client Services having overall responsibility for the company's client installations and product support. Prior to joining RELY, Mr. Marky held sales and project management positions with a consulting firm engaged in the implementation of supply chain technology solutions for companies that included Circuit City and Lowes. Mr. Marky has extensive experience in manufacturing and distribution environments. Mr. Marky's career began with Ryerson Tull, the largest steel distributor in the USA, where he was recruited into their Operations Leadership program. Mr. Marky held various operations management and sales positions within Ryerson Tull up to and including Plant Manager for their Wallingford, Connecticut facility. Mr. Marky was employed by Colt Manufacturing, the premier firearms manufacturer in the United States. He led the finishing and assembly production units for Colt for their largest volume product lines. Mr. Marky received a BS in Business Logistics from The Pennsylvania State University.
Mr. Midkiff has more than 19 years of experience in with Union Carbide, EQUATE and The Dow Chemical Company ranging from manufacturing to supply chain planning, analysis and management. His supply chain experience for Union Carbide includes supply chain network analysis, cost reduction planning, and work process optimization for the EO/EG business. As Supply Chain Manager for EQUATE EO/EG, he was responsible for designing and implementing the work processes for enabling day-to-day shipments to Europe, the Far East and Middle East, including the role of SAP subject matter expert for Sales & Distribution. During the merger of Union Carbide and Dow, Mr. Midkiff held a leadership role in the integration of supply chain organizations. Most recently in Dow, he was North American Marine & Terminal Leader, responsible for US and Canadian deep-water tanker and barge shipments, third-party terminal management and global marine planning. Prior to being appointed Vice President, Client Services, he was Director, Project Management overseeing the overall integration with OL&T's clients. Mr. Midkiff holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia Institute of Technology.
Mr. Trillo leads the North American third party services division. Prior to joining OL&T, he was the owner and founder of Omni Logistics, which Odyssey acquired in 2004. Recognized as a logistics industry innovator, he was the first broker to successfully enter the tank truck market offering capacity enhancing services to both shippers (demand) and carriers (supply). Mr. Trillo’s industry experience runs the gamut, including tank truck driver, dispatcher, sales, and running his own company (Omni) for 22 years.
Mr. Hoppmeyer has over 25 years of experience at Union Carbide Corporation and The Dow Chemical Company, principally in sales and sales management and in business management. In sales, Mr. Hoppmeyer managed two large geographic areas as regional sales manager and served as national sales manager. In his role as business manager he was responsible for five different businesses. In his last business assignment at Union Carbide and Dow he gained extensive experience in the area of chemical transportation. Mr. Hoppmeyer earned a B.S. degree from Louisiana State University.
Mr. Luizzi has over 27 years of diverse experience in the Chemical Industry having held senior positions in Supply Chain including leadership roles in the areas of logistics, distribution, finance, global trading and procurement management. Throughout his career with Union Carbide and The Dow Chemical Company, Mr. Luizzi has demonstrated superior competency in the design and implementation of complex supply chain solutions totaling billions of dollars. Specifically, these accomplishments include supply chain strategy development, domestic and international procurement, as well as the full scale implementation of global logistics solutions. At OL&T, Mike has responsibility for global sales of the full suite of services available within the business process outsourcing platform. Mr. Luizzi holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers Graduate School of Management.
Mr. Matthijssen has more than 35 years of experience in European Supply Chain and Logistics Management. He joined Odyssey Logistics Europe BVBA in 2008 as Director of Client Services & Business Development for the European Operations and was appointed Managing Director on April 1, 2009. Mr. Matthijssen had previously been responsible for directing logistics, transportation and customer service operations in Europe for Chemtura Corporation (and its predecessor company, Great Lakes Chemical Corporation). He had also been employed at General Electric Corporation in Europe for 25 years during which time he held management positions in functions including manufacturing, commercial, logistics and customer service. Mr. Matthijssen received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical College at Breda, The Netherlands, and holds economic certificates from the Business School of Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Mr. Land was a senior vice president at RELY Software and part of the early executive leadership team that pioneered global transportation management inclusive of event management and visibility. During that time, he was responsible for developing the company’s core market making and strategic account management processes, establishing a market-entry footprint in both North America and Europe, creating their business model, consulting practice, as well as establishing the company’s first strategic relationships. From 1991 to 2000, Kevin was also at EDMS, Manhattan Associates, and Voxware where he served in both executive and business development roles. Kevin was instrumental in developing each organization’s strategic positioning and presence in their respective marketplaces.
Kevin has a BA in English and Philosophy from of the University of Rhode Island and is a member of APICS and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. He has traveled extensively and has broad cultural and business knowledge in North America, Europe, Southeast and Southwest Asia.
Ms. Davlos brings a wealth of strategic talent to this position as Corporate Controller with over 20 years experience with Union Carbide and The Dow Chemical Company. Her background includes responsibilities in the chemical arena in handling financial planning and analysis; mergers and acquisitions; business analysis and key management of the UCC Chemicals & Plastics accounting organizations.
Ms. Davlos prior positions were as associate director in financial planning and analysis; functional controller of distribution and operation and financial manager responsibilities in specialty products and polymers including chemicals and plastics.
Ms. Davlos holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Indiana University and has active certifications and memberships as a Certified Public Accountant and also, The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
