Inbound Logistics Magazine Names Odyssey Logistics & Technology
Among Top 3PL Providers for Twelfth Consecutive Year

Danbury, Conn. (August 9, 2016) – For the twelfth consecutive year, Inbound Logistics magazine has named Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation (Odyssey) as a top third-party provider in its 2016 Top 100 Third Party Logistics (3PL) Provider list. The Top 100 3PL Provider’s list is a qualitative assessment of the service providers that Inbound Logistics deem to be the most efficient at meeting and surpassing constantly evolving global logistics needs.

“Being recognized by Inbound Logistics is a confirmation of our commitment to being a leader in the global logistics business,” said Robert Shellman, chief executive officer, Odyssey. “We continue to invest in a portfolio of services that help our clients with diverse and complex logistics needs.”

Each year, Inbound Logistics editors select the best logistics solutions providers by carefully evaluating submitted information, conducting personal interviews and online research, and comparing that data to their readers’ burgeoning global supply chain and logistics challenges.

In 2015, Odyssey formally launched WIN™ (Web Integrated Network), a free cloud-based transportation management solution that offers shippers an efficient, single-source system to make logistics and transportation easier, faster and more cost effective. Odyssey also introduced a new international logistics service for the metals industry in 2015 that is an extension of the domestic service it currently provides.

“Odyssey continues to be an innovative and receptive company that works with its customers to provide high-value solutions to their logistics needs,” said Felecia Stratton, editor, Inbound Logistics magazine. “When selecting this year’s list, our editors looked for providers that continue to offer solutions to customers’ challenging logistics needs across all modes of transportation. Odyssey deserves recognition for its continued commitment and leadership in the logistics and supply chain industry.”

Odyssey’s suite of inbound and outbound logistics services include:

  • International Transportation Management
  • Managed Services & Consulting
  • Intermodal Services
  • Truck Services
  • WIN Transportation Management System (TMS)

“Reducing logistics costs is important to our clients,” added Cosmo Alberico, chief operating officer & CFO, Odyssey. “The demand to control costs continues to be a major factor in the industry and we’re continually looking for advanced ways to help our clients improve their bottom line.”
