This afternoon, it was determined that mechanical repairs to Maunalei will take longer than previously expected. Unfortunately, this will require the vessel to be out of service for an additional voyage. Maunalei was expected to operate our scheduled Tacoma departure on Friday, August 19, but as a result of the repairs we are cancelling this voyage.

For Dutch Harbor customers, we are working on a recovery plan that would include utilizing next Wednesday’s Matson Tacoma 208N. We will confirm details as soon as possible.

We fully expect to be back on schedule with all northbound and southbound sailings the week of August 22.
