Subject: Fuel Related Surcharge Increase – Hawaii / Guam / Micronesia
Dear Customer,
The ongoing conflict in the Middle East and associated disruptions to the production and movement of refined fuels have tightened supplies and placed sustained upward pressure on marine fuel costs. As a result, Matson will increase its Fuel Related Surcharge (FRSC) effective November 15, 2026.
On that date, the FRSC for Hawaii will increase from 31.5% to 34.0%, Guam will increase from 32.5% to 35.0%, and Micronesia will increase from 34.5% to 37.0%.
Matson is providing this 30-day notice as a courtesy to our customers. As always, we will continue to monitor marine fuel price trends closely, adjust the surcharge as needed, and notify customers accordingly.
